In the period from 10.04.17 to 04.14.17. the week of Energy and Automation Department was held. This period was full of various activities for both teachers and students. Various contests, excursions, open classes were organized, namely:
04.10. 2017 a contest for the best electrician among the four groups was held. Students were offered theoretical and practical problems close to production conditions that form the professional training of future specialists. The student of E-51S group Khmarnyi B. won this contest.
During the week, it was possible to get acquainted with the teachers achievements, that were exhibited in teaching and methodical study. On 04.11.2017 - 04.12.2017 within a department week under the direction of senior teacher Marysiuk A. P., the students visited the XII International Exhibition «EAA: Electronics and Industrial Automation 2017", held at the exhibition center "KyivExpoPlaza". The latest and advanced technologies in the areas of: "Electronics and microprocessor facilities", "Industrial automation and automated electric drive", "Electricity and energy saving" were presented at the exhibition. Visitors were impressed by the scale of the exhibition and unique exhibits, most of which were provided by Ukrainian companies, that is pleased and gives hope for the prospects in the development of the domestic production of electrical equipment.
On 04.12.17, the open lecture was held in group E-21B on the subject "Installation of power equipment", by senior teacher Darmoris P. M.. The theme of the lecture "Installation of transformer substations" is relevant when training the future power engineering specialists. The structure, completing units, installation technology of structural elements of transformer substation were considered during the lecture. Multimedia and video were used to interest the students and intensify the learning process.
Also on this day, the curator of group E-31B Klendii H. Ya. held an excursion in the museum, where students learned new and interesting facts about the historical and cultural heritage of Berezhany region.
On 04.13.2017, the open class was held by senior teacher Potapenko M. V. on the subject "Theoretical Foundations of automation", the theme of which is "Determination of resistance of automatic control systems by frequency criteria of Mykhailov and Naikvist". The modern methods of theory studying of technological processes automatic control were used at the class. Classes were held at high scientific and methodological level.
Summing up the department week, it is possible to conclude that it was an extremely productive. Thematics of events was interesting, informative and associated with teaching material and production activity.
